Golf Karnataka’s Role
The achievement is particularly significant for Karnataka and Golf Karnataka, with Karnataka’s own Aditi Ashok and Pranavi Urs being part of this historic Indian team. The Government of Karnataka and the Karnataka Olympic Association have supported both athletes through the state’s Target Olympics Programme for 2026–27, with support sanctioned in March 2026. Golf Karnataka played an active role in following up and facilitating this initiative, reflecting its continued commitment to supporting Karnataka’s golfers, strengthening their preparation for major international competitions, and advancing their Olympic aspirations.
